Tbilisi is Georgia’s largest city and also the country’s capital. The city, which has a population of more than 1.5 million people, has performed admirably in recent years. Visitors come for the low rates and delicious food, but Tbilisi has everything a large contemporary city could possibly offer. It’s an incredible destination to visit, with a rich history, vibrant nightlife, and stunning natural surroundings. Cannabis laws in Georgia
Georgia used to be a pretty rigid state when it comes to marijuana laws. People would be tested for drugs on a regular basis and penalized if they tested positive. The regulations were so harsh that they sparked nationwide demonstrations, and the Constitutional Court determined in 2018 that the current legislation were unlawful. As a result, cannabis is now in a gray area, where personal possession and consumption are lawful, but cultivating and selling pot is criminal and can put you in prison for a long period.
If you are able to obtain marijuana, there is no need to be concerned as long as you do not consume it in public or in the presence of youngsters. There is nothing the police can legally do to you for just a couple of grams, but with a large quantity on you, you can get into a lot of trouble.
Where to find weed in Tbilisi
Despite the fact that cannabis is effectively decriminalized, Tiblisi has an extremely low marijuana usage rate. It’s nearly impossible to get cannabis in Tbilisi if you don’t know anyone. Because there is so much synthetic and phony weed on the market, it’s generally best not to ask around too much for fear of being ripped off. Georgia isn’t the best spot to light up a joint.
